The Narcotic/Vice Unit is responsible for investigating both narcotic and vice related crimes. The Unit is charged with the duties of investigating all possession, sales and manufacturing of controlled substances violations along with all vice related activities such as prostitution and lewd conduct violations. The Unit operates in a variety of modes most notably undercover operations.

Information about narcotic and vice activities often comes from anonymous citizens concerned about the quality of life in their communities. In order to assist investigators the following information, if possible, should be included when reporting Narcotic or Vice activity.

• Address where the activity is occurring.
• Names and ages of the suspects if known.
• Detailed description of the suspects (sex, age, race and height)
• Vehicle descriptions with license plate if possible.
• Type of drug being sold or vice activity occurring.
