On Monday, May 13, 2024, at 2:41 AM, Fullerton Police Officers were dispatched to the area of N. Harbor Blvd. and W. Whiting Ave. regarding a traffic collision involving a vehicle into a building.
Upon arrival, Officers located a black Honda Civic on the southwest sidewalk. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was located in the driver’s seat. The Fullerton Fire Department responded, extricated the female, and began life-saving measures before transporting her to a local trauma hospital. At the time of the collision, the female adult driver was listed in critical condition.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Harbor Blvd. when, for unknown reasons, it veered onto the sidewalk and collided with a nearby building.
Three days later, the female driver succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision.
At this time, it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a factor in the cause of the collision.
