Drought Indicator Standard ConservationThe Drought Speedometer to the right indicates what level of water shortage or drought restrictions the City of Fullerton is in. Each increasing drought level has conservation measures that are designed to have a specific percentage of water savings. Residents will be alerted about changes in conservation levels by City Council.

On October 19, 2021, Governor Newsom expanded the drought emergency statewide to include Orange County. The Governor has asked all Californian's to reduce water consumption by 15% due to drought conditions in northern California and along the Colorado River.

At this time the 15% water conservation is voluntary, but standard conservation measures will still be enforced at this time.
