What is the difference between a certificate of recognition, proclamation, and a resolution?
- A Certificate of Recognition is provided to a local individual, business or organization to recognize outstanding achievements that have benefited the Fullerton community.
- A Proclamation is a ceremonial document issued by the City Council to commemorate a specific time period (day, week, or month) for the purpose of raising awareness about local efforts.
- A Certificate of Resolution is a ceremonial document that generally commends a local person, business or organization for service to the community for a particular accomplishment that benefits the community of is deemed exemplary.
