Advisory Commission

City Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-65 to form a Redistricting Advisory Commission on September 21, 2021.  Each Council Member appointed one member to the Commission.  At its first meeting, the five directly-appointed members will appoint two additional at-large members to the Commission.  

The Commission will assist City Council with requirements of the 2021 post-census redistricting process, including creation of new district election maps, in accordance with  all applicable federal, state and other laws and regulations.
