FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget
To promote fiscal transparency, the City of Fullerton provides its budget documents and financial reports available to its residents and community at-large on its website. The information below provides the City’s Operating Budget, which is its chief financial plan that summarizes use of city resources (taxpayer dollars & all revenues) for our municipal services the City offers to the community for the fiscal year. The City operates on a fiscal year (FY) basis, starting on July 1st and ending on June 30th of every year.
The FY 2024-25 Budget was adopted at the June 4th, 2024 City Council Meeting. Throughout the Budget Development process, the City held a number of meetings to offer residents, business owners or frequent visitors, opportunities to submit valuable community input and to present the Proposed Operating and Capital Improvements Budget.
- Budget Priorities Survey - A survey was posted on the City's website, social media platforms, and staff attended the "City Hall On-The-Go" at the Hunt Library Re-Opening event on April 13, 2024 to promote the survey, provide information on the City's budget and answer any budget-related questions.
- Budget Meeting #1 - Budget Community Meeting was held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 5:30 pm at the Fullerton Community Center.
- Budget Meeting #2 - Budget Study Session on Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 Proposed Budget at a special meeting at Council Chambers at 5:00 pm was held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
- Budget Adoption Meeting - A public hearing to formally adopt the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 Proposed Operating Budget, Annual Appropriations Limit and FY 2024-25 Schedule of Fees and Charges was held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
