Public Works Administration provides direction, management, and support services to the Engineering, Construction Management, and Field Operating divisions. Besides the Public Works Director herself, the Division consists of two teams: Support Services and Management/Analysis.

Support Services provides customer service, clerical support, personnel administration, dispatching, claims processing, and other front office activities. When you call the Engineering front counter at City Hall or Maintenance at Basque Yard, you will usually be speaking with someone from our support services team.

Management and Audit manage budgets, automated service request and maintenance system; they also perform audit services and work on special projects. The team coordinates the department’s emergency preparedness program and work on a wide variety of routine and special assignments.
