PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
- Group ratios will be 1 Activity Leader to 12 participants (12:1).
- Your child must stay home from camp if they are sick, they will not be allowed to return to camp until they no longer have symptoms. A physician’s release may be required before any child may return to camp.
- Children must apply own sunblock.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT PROCEDURES
- Parent/guardian will sign-in/sign-out their child every day at Hillcrest Recreation building.
LUNCH & SNACK REQUIREMENTS
- Participants must bring their own lunch daily.
- Participants must bring their own water bottle, labeled with their name.
2024 Parent Meeting:
Prior to the start of camp parents are invited to the Camp Hillcrest Parent Meeting where they will be able to meet staff and review the Parent Handbook. There are two dates parents can choose from to attend.

Here's a look at what a typical week looks like at Camp Hillcrest : Week 6 Big Air (2)
At Camp Hillcrest we create a fun, action-packed environment for kids to have an unforgettable experience! Camp activities include a weekly theme and special on-site activities! The camp is supervised by trained, City Recreation Staff and volunteers who continuously encourage positive socialization skills, cooperative skills, and group activities. In addition, Camp Hillcrest promotes enjoyable physical activity to keep campers active and engaged throughout the course of the day. Camp provides supervision under a 12:1 camper to staff ratio. Campers will be divided by age groups during organized activities. (Camp 1.0:5-8yrs, and Camp 2.0: 9-12yrs)
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Sign up for one week at a time or reserve the entire summer. Fees include all camp activities and excursion costs. A one-time $12 Camp Hillcrest shirt fee will be assessed for all new participants. Additional shirts may be purchased at your request. Camp shirt is required to be worn on Camp Excursion days. A $10 Snack Pass can be purchased for your child to use at the camp's concession shop.
You may register online, by phone, or in-person at the Fullerton Community Center prior to the first day of camp. No on-site registration allowed. For more information, please call 714-738-6575.
REFUNDS / TRANSFER POLICY: Will only be considered with a minimum two-week notice, on an individual basis by the Camp Coordinator. Processing fees will be applied. The camp does not pro-rate any of the weekly pricing.
