The Fullerton Skate Park is located in Independence Park at 801 W. Valencia Drive. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to sunset.
Built in 2000, The 10,000 square foot Skate Park offers features for all age and skill levels. The Skate Park is free to use but we ask that users respect the Park rules and code of conduct:
No person shall:
- Skateboard or roller skate at any time other than the open hours of 7:00 a.m. to sunset.
- Use the Skate Park for uses other than for skateboarding or roller skating.
- Ride or cause to be ridden, a bicycle or any other non-authorized wheeled contrivance on the skating surface.
- Possess, use, or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Litter or place trash or debris in or on the skating surface. All trash shall be placed in trash receptacles and failure to do so shall be grounds for removal from the Skate Park.
- Apply or cause to be applied any vandalism, including but not limited to: graffiti, tagging, stickers or decals to any facilities in the skate park. Skate Park facilities include, but are not limited to: fencing, walls, sidewalks, and the skating surface.
- All persons shall skateboard or roller skate only on the designated skating surfaces and shall not skateboard or roller skate on the curbs and driveways of the City-owned area surrounding the skating surface.
It is recommended that all skaters use the proper safety equipment including a helmet, elbow and knee pads, and closed toe shoes.
Citizens wishing to volunteer to their time to help monitor and maintain the skate park are asked to contact the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department at (714) 738-6575 or at parks@cityofullerton.com.
