What is the taxi and transportation program and do I qualify to use it?

• The transportation program is available for Fullerton residents who are 60 years and older. Free trips are available to the Fullerton Community Center, and medical, recreation, and personal care trips within Orange County.

Who do I contact with maintenance and graffiti issues? 

• Report graffiti through the myFullerton mobile app, graffiti hotline (714) 738-3108 or email Maintenance@cityoffullerton.com. Maintenance concerns can also be reported via email, or call (714) 738-6897.  

Do I need a park rental permit to have a gathering in the park? 

• Park locations are currently available on a first come, first-serve basis for parties with less than 25 guests. For parties of more than 25 guests, facility reservation permits are required.  

Which parks allow bounce houses? 

• Use of a bounce house is only allowed with park permitted reservations at Adlena or Hillcrest Park. Bounce houses must be rented from a company that has their liability insurance on file with the City of Fullerton and has agreed to comply with City rules. There is an additional fee for bounce houses.  

Can I film in the park? 

• A permit will need to be completed through filmla.com for any filming in the City of Fullerton. Fees are applied by day and dependent on availability / community programming.

Can I bring my food truck or food cart onto park property?

• A sidewalk vendor certificate of operation is required through the Business Registration division. The application process is available on the City of Fullerton website.  

Can I bring portable restrooms? 

• Requires a special events permit and city-wide Department approval. 

How do I become a vendor at the Farmers’ Market? 

• The Downtown Fullerton Market is a seasonal market, which runs from April through October. Vendor applications are accepted throughout the season starting in February. Applications can be found in our website under community events: https://fullertoncommunitycenter.com/, hard copies are available at the Fullerton Community Center during the market season. Submit your completed application in person to the Fullerton Community Center front desk, by mail to 340 W Commonwealth Ave. Fullerton, CA 92832 or email to DowntownFullertonMarket@cityoffullerton.com

Are there open gym hours? 

• Yes – currently we have open gym basketball on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 12-3pm at the Fullerton Community Center gymnasium. Hours are subject to change.  

What are your FCC hours? 

• Fullerton Community Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am – 8:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am – 3:00pm. Closed every Sunday.

• Remember a loved one with a Memorial Tree, Kiosk, or Bench Donation for placement in a Fullerton City park. The Parks and Recreation Commission will review all applications for donating memorial benches, kiosks and trees at its monthly meeting, and will make a decision to approve or disapprove the applications.

Are dogs allowed in the parks or city events?  

• Yes – dogs must be on a leash at all times. Owners and handlers are legally responsible for their dog(s) at all times and may not leave their dog(s) unattended at any time.
