Fullerton Airport Hangar Wait List

Requirements

A $100 fee is required to be placed on the hangar wait list. This fee is non‐refundable. (If/when you rent a hangar, the $100 administrative fee due to begin a new hangar lease will be waived)

You must have an airworthy, flyable aircraft registered in your name, LLC. or business entity.

How long is the wait?

The wait can be anywhere from three to six months, or up to a year depending on the hangar. This approximate wait time can change. The wait will be shorter if you do not have a hangar preference, and longer for hangars in high demand.

How to get on the list

Send your $100 payment by cash or check made payable to City of Fullerton to:

Or you can drop your payment in the Airport mailbox located at the front of the tower building. Use the mailbox labeled AIRPORT.

The Airport does not accept credit card payments at this time. With your payment, you must include your name, cell phone number, email address, aircraft tail number, and hangar preference from the options below:

• First Available
• New Box Hangar
• Old Box Hangar
• New T‐Hangar
• Old T‐Hangar
• Executive Box (does NOT include Jr. Executives)

You’re on the list, now what?

Once you are placed on the list, you will be sent an email confirmation and given an ID number. You can check the status of your placement on the list using your ID number at the Airport website www.cityoffullerton.com/airport, under “Hangar and Tiedown Rentals”.

Passing on a Hangar ‐ When a hangar becomes available, you have the option to reject the hangar and pass. You are allowed two (2) passes without penalty. Upon your third pass, you will be moved to the bottom of the list. After six (6) total passes you will be removed from the list completely. The $100 fee is non‐refundable. You may request to be placed on the list again, and will need to pay the $100 administrative fee again.

Notification ‐ Please make sure to notify us immediately of any changes to your contact information. If we are unable to reach you after a reasonable amount of attempts, you will be removed from the list completely. The $100 administrative fee is non‐refundable.

Please respond to us as soon as possible when we notify you that a hangar is available. If you do not respond to either accept or reject the hangar within the time specified, you may be removed from the hangar wait list for non‐responsiveness. The $100 administrative fee is non‐refundable.
