Welcome to the Download Center. At this time, we have Google SketchUp© and Google Earth KMZ files available for use. Due to the current size of our SketchUp model, the files must be downloaded in sections. For further information, please contact (714)738-6561.

Some Firefox users have reported problems downloading the native SketchUp files. We recommend you use Internet Explorer for downloading at this time.

Developers and Project Applicants: If you have been asked to provide your proposed project in our 3D model format, please download the appropriate SketchUp file/files from the list below, insert your proposed structures and provide the modified data to the planner assigned to your project. It is important that you use our files for submission as the data must be compatible with our geographic information software and existing files. Complete information about what to include in your model can be downloaded from this link.

The graphic below shows Downtown3D coverage. The model, extending approximately one mile in all directions from the intersection of Harbor Blvd. and Commonwealth Ave., is split into 19 geo-referenced sections. Darker green areas contain building models with higher architectural detail. Lighter green areas have 3D masses that are less architecturally detailed. Download from the links below.

Having trouble downloading files? Our SketchUp files are large (some 10M or more) so a high-speed connection is suggested for downloads. If you receive error messages while clicking on the download links below, try these steps:

1. Hover your cursor over the link for the file you want to download, then right-click your mouse or right-click the button on your touch pad.
2. From the resulting pop-up menu, choose "Save file as" or "Save link as", then choose a location on your local machine and click the OK or Save button.
