The Fullerton Community Center will host a health seminar addressing the topic of over-the-counter, or OTC, medications, on Monday, March 13, 2017.
The seminar titled “What You Should Know about OTC Medicines,” will last from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and is sponsored by Orange County Health Care Agency. The program is free, but registration is requested by contacting the center at (714) 738-6305 prior to the event.
Participants can learn more about over-the-counter medications and the serious nature of their use. OTCs are medicines and can help with proper use, but otherwise may have harmful effects. Attendees can additionally learn more about making safer choices regarding OTCs, as well as how to read and understand the “Drug Facts” on the labeling.
The Fullerton Community Center is located at 340 W. Commonwealth Avenue, west of Harbor Boulevard, in Amerige Park.
